

Plymouth Fastpitch Machine-Pitch League

Mission:
The mission of the Plymouth Fastpitch Program is to support and encourage softball development. The program provides organized training, recreation and education for young student athletes to develop and enhance their physical, social, mental, and leadership skills while competing with sportsmanship in a highly competitive environment. Our goal is to develop confident, honest, and hard working young athletes that will have a positive impact on society.
Plymouth Fastpitch Machine-Pitch League (9U): Girls ages 7-9
This program will incorporate the following:

This will be a Plymouth school district league.

Goal will be teaching players the basics/fundamentals of fastpitch softball.

Focus will be learning the mechanics of throwing, catching, hitting and playing positions properly with the goal of moving up to the 10U program.

We also will be limiting the age range to 9 years old as of September 1st.

Any girl over 9 years of age as of Sept 1st will be moved to the 10U program.

An 11” Softball will be used for this age group given it’s appropriate sizing and to prep players for 10U travel ball.

All infield players will be required to wear a face mask.

An arm style pitching machine will be used for all pitches. The hitting team’s coach will operate the pitching machine (Louisville Slugger Blue Flame)

Pitching distance will be 35' from front of the pitching machine / distance between bases will be 60'.

Games will run approximately 90 minutes

No new inning may start later than 1 hour, 15 minutes after the game’s official starting time. In the event a game is tied after 6 innings, the game will be called a tie.

Games will be played at City Park in Plymouth, Sheboygan Falls or Howards Grove.

Practices and games will start in June and will conclude at the end of July.

Practices and games will be scheduled on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Registration Fee:

o January 1 - March 28, 2026: $65

o March 29 - April 11, 2026: $85
